Research from the University of Auckland New Zealand suggests that writing about your troubles could boost your immune system and speed up healing.
The researchers found that participants wounds healed 3 times faster if they wrote about emotional or traumatic experiences rather than just documenting daily activities. Their reasoning is that expressive writing eases stress which in turn supports the immune system and they say that just 20mins per day over 3 days can make a difference. Food for thought.
